This year, we’re thrilled to celebrate a milestone – the 10th Anniversary of the Oslo Caribbean Festival! Get ready to immerse yourself in the vibrant Latin-American and Afro-Caribbean culture right here in Norway. We are back at our brilliant venues Riksscenen and Sentralen, with great and very comfortable dance spaces, and the very best sound quality for the live music!
Celebrating the 10th edition of the festival with the greatest atmosphere in Norway, we also announce it to be the final one in Oslo!
The profile for the Oslo Caribbean Festival has been a festival with a difference, bringing you lots of live music, great workshops and an amazing atmosphere late October, just when you need it! Emphasizing different Latin rhythms and dances like Salsa (both styles), Afro-Cuban, Rumba, Son, Reggaeton…, embracing Bachata, and taking a good dive into the rhythms of Kizomba and Semba.
An important goal with the event has also been to showcase the fantastic competence we have here in Norway amongst the dancers, musicians, instructors and other artists. Therefore the majority of the artists will always be national ones, and with a few international stars.
Proudly standing as Norway’s festival for these rich cultures since 2014 (2015 being a leap year), we’re all about creating unforgettable experiences in Oslo for the 10th and last time. Make sure not to miss out on this EPIC dance happening October 2024!!
